Our Two-year Installation Guarantee

Our installer teams are highly trained and experienced, and we are confident in their ability to provide you with expert advice and exceptional flooring installations. We are therefore happy to extend a two-year installation guarantee applicable to all domestic installations, as long as the product is approved by Top Carpets and Floors. This installation is subject to the product being treated and maintained correctly. This guarantee does not extend to commercial flooring installations, however, as such projects contain several product variations and various occupants. Fortunately, the approved products that we use are backed by guarantees and warranties from their suppliers and manufacturers.

Our R1 Million Installation Guarantee

With well over three decades of experience behind our name, we have an eye for top-tier standards. We, therefore, offer our customers a R1 million “Peace of Mind” guarantee which our members undertake while conforming to the strict installation procedures determined by the manufacturers and suppliers of our approved products. Customers who are not satisfied with our flooring installation services or products will receive an impartial adjudication of the dispute. We reserve the right to include external expertise to assist with investigating the dispute and using the findings to provide the customer with a detailed report and plan of action going forward. If the customer’s case is found to have merit, our Top Carpets and Floors Head Office will rectify or replace the installation up to a value of R1 million. This guarantee only applies to domestic flooring installations, and the product used must be an approved Top Carpets and Floors product. Claims that are registered after a month need to be accompanied by proof that correct maintenance procedures were followed.

Our 10-day Colour Replacement Guarantee

Matching new flooring installations to one’s walls and furnishings can be a challenge, especially if one is stuck between two shades. Those keen on new carpets may be uncertain about the colour they select, but we do, fortunately, offer a 10-day Colour Replacement Guarantee. Customers who do not like the colour of their carpet can contact us within 10 days, and we will replace the installation with any colour within the same range. The only thing the customer then pays for is the fitting and return of the incorrectly selected product. The guarantee only applies to selected carpet suppliers, and flooring installations must be in pristine condition with no damage or staining. This guarantee gives our clients some breathing room when it comes to decorating their homes.

Our Healthier Living Installation Guarantee

Although we thoroughly prepare the subfloor before installing a product, we also offer an optional extra treatment. Our Healthier Living Guarantee is a Bio Guard Pro Anti-microbial Pre-installation treatment. This treatment disinfects and protects the subfloor, reducing allergens, mould, mildew and bacteria in the area. In addition, we add a Spillguard underlay that is 100% moisture resistant enhancing the health, durability, and performance of the installation.

Individual Product Guarantees

We at the Top Carpets and Floors Group have partnered with various suppliers and manufacturers, and we promote and sell carefully selected ranges from these suppliers via our members. Each product within these ranges has its own guarantees and warranties, subject to the conditions set out by its manufacturer and supplier. Most guarantees and warranties are linked to user maintenance and handling of the products, and customers are encouraged to adhere to these requirements.
