There are numerous items that need to be considered when providing an actual quotation. The following are a couple of examples.

  • Area - Room size and shape impact material quantities. Carpets come in various widths; Laminates & LVTs have different planks sizes affecting wastage.
  • Floor Condition - Removal of existing flooring always necessary. Self-levelling screeds and moisture barriers required for Laminates and LVTs.
  • Underlay - Numerous underlay qualities exist, leading to price differences.
  • Labour - Ease of access to site, furniture removal all impact staff and time affecting the cost. Staircase installations cost more.
  • General - Many factors shape pricing, requiring on-site consultation for accurate quotes.
    • Remote locations might have extra transport fees.
    • Floors needing self-levelling screeds should budget at least R150/m².
    • Small areas incur surcharges due to minimum material and labour costs.

Description

Adaptable carpet entrance matting for high volume entrance areas, walkways and corridors. Suitable for glue down, wall to wall, or floor surface applications. The nylon pile is highly absorbent and also withstands crushing.

Available with optional edging depending on the requirements of the application and can be used as part of a two-step system in heavy traffic environments. Exceptionally durable carpet made from ECONYL®, a recycled nylon material made from discarded fishing nets and other sources.
