FINFLOOR | LUXURY SPC | RIGID BOARD, LUXURY WOOD VINYL A new generation of luxury vinyl tiles that’ are manufactured with a stone-plastic composite core, making them incredibly strong. Installed as a floating floor with a Unilin click system Diamond Core can be installed on many different types of floor bases, for example, concrete or ceramic flooring. Diamond Core vinyl flooring is 100% waterproof and physically performs 50% better than traditional luxury vinyl tiles.

There are numerous items that need to be considered when providing an actual quotation. The following are a couple of examples.

  • Area - Room size and shape impact material quantities. Carpets come in various widths; Laminates & LVTs have different planks sizes affecting wastage.
  • Floor Condition - Removal of existing flooring always necessary. Self-levelling screeds and moisture barriers required for Laminates and LVTs.
  • Underlay - Numerous underlay qualities exist, leading to price differences.
  • Labour - Ease of access to site, furniture removal all impact staff and time affecting the cost. Staircase installations cost more.
  • General - Many factors shape pricing, requiring on-site consultation for accurate quotes.
    • Remote locations might have extra transport fees.
    • Floors needing self-levelling screeds should budget at least R150/m².
    • Small areas incur surcharges due to minimum material and labour costs.

Of course, Diamond Core SPC is also anti-abrasive and extremely strong, boasting 100% waterproof and damp-proof properties. This new to the market product has superior anti-slip(ping) qualities and measures up to luxury vinyl tile’s in terms of its anti-mildew and antibacterial nature. Owing to its amazing performance under huge variations in temperature and humidity. Diamond Core is formaldehyde free, making for a completely safe flooring solution for both residential and public environments.
