There are numerous items that need to be considered when providing an actual quotation. The following are a couple of examples.

  • Area - Room size and shape impact material quantities. Carpets come in various widths; Laminates & LVTs have different planks sizes affecting wastage.
  • Floor Condition - Removal of existing flooring always necessary. Self-levelling screeds and moisture barriers required for Laminates and LVTs.
  • Underlay - Numerous underlay qualities exist, leading to price differences.
  • Labour - Ease of access to site, furniture removal all impact staff and time affecting the cost. Staircase installations cost more.
  • General - Many factors shape pricing, requiring on-site consultation for accurate quotes.
    • Remote locations might have extra transport fees.
    • Floors needing self-levelling screeds should budget at least R150/m².
    • Small areas incur surcharges due to minimum material and labour costs.

Azura engineered wood flooring offers you real wood floor that is more stable and more affordable than solid wood. BKB is manufactured in a multi-layered system with real hardwood as the top layer and supported by Hevea (rubberwood) wood in the centre giving your a beautiful, stable floorboard.
